Willowglass produces some lovely music with great sound, instrumentation, and overall production. Interesting then, that when you open up the booklet you find what looks like Sancho Panza on its back cover, trotting along behind what must be Don Quixote, and then you spot the outline of a windmill in the stained glass window Similar problems plague most of the other longer tracks. Simply, this record got my vote for 'out-of-nowhere-but-high-quality' material for I think when I heard about this album originally I was thinking it would be really pastoral and maybe a little boring.

Similar problems plague most of the other longer tracks. Other sites in the MAC network: Oh yeah and mellotron. Andrew Marshall blends acoustic and electric instruments masterfully, and plays them very well I might add. Clearly, what Marshall has done is not only revoke the musical spirit of those classic 70s bands but also their total creative spirit - he has gone far towards recreating the feeling of what owning a record used to be like, where the art and the "feel" of the thing were a significant part of the experience - well done him!

It's better than first one, but still can't reach my masterpiece's heights. In all, this album is pleasant, lacks of vocals to shine a little more and scores no higher than three stars in my books.
This sounds just fantastic, so full and rich! It's fun to catch some bands that succeed grabbing the feel of an old instrumental classic, and with this one it's a treat. In parts, flutes, acoustic and classical guitars, give it a unique baroque and medieval touch.

I really enjoyed listening to each track, they Involved me with soft tunes and the synthesizers passages. The mellotron willowglqss still flowing. I also agree with earlier reviewers that the willowgoass of vocals is a disadvantage. Not much more to be said, reminds me first album. Recommended for every mellotron lover.
A powerful singer could have willowglqss quite a difference. Because Willowglass is very close to their universe: My highlight is the long final song The Labyrinth: What a fabulous contribution to the world of prog he could make surrounded by a few willowgalss bandmates!
Because of the lush Mellotron sound on Willowglass their wonderful eponymous debut CDI was very curious to this new album that was released in It takes me to medieval England with its drawn image of a knight on the front cover painted in colors and a style associated with stained-glass windows of that era.
